Her name sprang to my lips

Her name sprang to my lips at moments in strange prayers and praises which I myself did not understand. My eyes were often full of tears (I could not tell why) and at times a flood from my heart seemed to pour itself out into my bosom. I thought little of the future. I did not know whether I would ever speak to her or not or, if I spoke to her, how I could tell her of my confused adoration. But my body was like a harp and her words and gestures were like fingers running upon the wires.

[ Leaders of the Free World ]

I’m sick of working for a living
I’m just ticking off the days till I die
I miss you Louise
And the sickest little pleasures keep me going in between pulling teeth

But the LEADERS OF THE FREE WORLD
Are just little boys throwing stones
And its easy to ignore ‘til they’re knocking on the door of your homes

I may not love That Extraordinary Machine

/ Not About Love video clip /

OK, I didn't care about "Oh Sailor" b/c it was one of my least favorite EM songs but now that I've heard the new mix of "Not About Love". What the fuck! The guy in the video reminds me of Ryan.

The Village Broadsheet - "There's music on there that wasn't even part of [what I recorded]. It's wrong, It's not like, 'I don't quite like the mix,' I wasn't happy with [the leak] cause I don't like those versions. It's stuff that doesn't reflect what we recorded, for the most part, except for the stuff that's just her and an orchestra. That's just right — but as far as the rest of it, it doesn't reflect what I recorded."

+ keeping a blog while watching the series: "New guy can do bullet time, guy with the flowing locks is in love, green-haired guy has a way with the ladies, and yellow-haired guy thinks he's all that. Oh, and machine dude is nothing but trouble."

About the other Sin City DVD release

"... when people watch DVDs, they complain 'oh, the only thing about home entertainment is you miss that audience experience.' Well, the best audience is in Austin, especially for a movie that was made there. We showed the premiere with the actors there in a 1500-seat theater, and they would go crazy and Sin City got a big reaction. I recorded the audience in 5.1 so if you're watching the DVD and you want to see it with an Austin audience on premiere night, you just click a button and they're all there going 'aaaah!' so it's really cool."
