[ The possibility that things are gonna change ]

+ Tara: "I was afraid......"
I was afraid of wanting anything. I figured wanting would lead to trying and trying would lead to failure, but now I find I can't stop wanting. I want to surprise myself. I wanna loose and get over it. I wanna define myself instead of having others define me. I wanna win and have people be happy for me. I wanna be the best person I can be. I wanna not be afraid of the unknown. Its not that I think that I'm going to get all these things, I just want the possibility of getting them. The possibility that things are gonna change.

I'm being cut to shreds//Restart and reboot yourself

Amnesia seems like the best solution. Wouldn't it be funny if the new me hates U2? And if I'm lead here to remember who I was, what will I make of it? I won't know what song is about which girl, which night, which mistake. It's a legacy of what I'm trying to forget, so why come back. ?

+ [U2: Unknown Caller/Live]

P.S. and because at some point I'll forget: Fuck Pitchfork, Stereogum, NYMag's Vulture, and all the random people who've ripped me off. Fuck You. Drop Dead.

Did you ever go clear?

+ Jimi Hendrix-Stone Free live at Royal Albert Hall

Dear xxxx,
I know you miss your pills, holding on to a memory and time traveling into sleep. The illuminations. The feelings your friends don't and will never understand. The escape. The inspiration. The turmoil. Even though the line is about Scientology, I think of you now when I listen to "Famous Blue Raincoat" and he sings did you ever go clear?

Alone with my radio

Alone with my radio I lift up my hands. Welcome to you who read me today. Welcome to you who put my heart down. Welcome to you darling and friend, who miss me forever in your trip to the end.

// The Rolling Stones: Waiting On A Friend/live

You've know me for a long time.  When I see red, when I get angry to that level, its the start of an 80's cold war. Our mouths ready at a moments notice to unleash nuclear attacks. Who's going to push the button first? Who's going to negotiate a peace accord? How long will it take?

We sleep in coffins.

Last night I went to church, my church is called the U2 360 Tour

+ The Set List
- MU2E seemed to start late and not do their whole set list b/c Matt didn't touch his piano.
- I was a little disappointed that they got rid of "Unknown Caller" from the set list.
+ "Until The End of The World" made up for it.
- Sorry but "No Line In The Horizon" just doesn't translate live.
+ So glad "(Pride) In The Name Of Live" has been retired for the moment. I'm fine with "Walk On" taking its place.

+ Ultraviolet had a new intro! hello Zooropa's babyface, nice to see you again.

+ Concert review: U2 puts on a big show at Cowboys Stadium + U2 show is visually arresting, occasionally moving

"U2: 'We definitely would like to be' in video game"

+ U2: 'We definitely would like to be' in video game
U2 may reconsider joining Rock Band. A year ago, the Irish quartet was in talks with the video game maker about lending their songs and likenesses to a version of the popular series. At that time, U2 bowed out, but the debut of The Beatles: Rock Band, with its faithful depictions of the Fab Four, may change the band’s minds.
