“I am one of the searchers. There are, I believe, millions of us. We are not unhappy, but neither are we really content. We continue to explore life, hoping to uncover its ultimate secret. We continue to explore ourselves, hoping to understand. We like to walk along the beach, we are drawn by the ocean, taken by its power, its unceasing motion, its mystery and unspeakable beauty. We like forests and mountains, deserts and hidden rivers, and the lonely cities as well. Our sadness is as much a part of our lives as is our laughter. To share our sadness with one we love is perhaps as great a joy as we can know – unless it be to share our laughter. We searchers are ambitious only for life itself, for everything beautiful it can provide. Most of all we love and want to be loved. We want to live in a relationship that will not impede our wandering, nor prevent our search, nor lock us in prison walls; that will take us for what little we have to give. We do not want to prove ourselves to another or compete for love.”

Music is much like fucking, but some composers can’t climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent.

I think Ariana has a lovely voice:
"Nickelodeon has ordered 20 episodes of new comedy Sam & Cat, which features iCarly character Sam (Jeannette McCurdy) moving in with the character Cat (Ariana Grande) from Victorious. This teen sitcom mash-up will begin production in January and premiere some time in 2013."
Katy is a funny lovely girl and she wants this picture to get 1K reblogs so if you have Tumblr and are so inclined, REBLOG IT

P.S. I think I lost a few facebook followers from that "Like" button on the left column because of my constant posting of girl's bums as little icons.I was the shadow of the waxwing slain

In the various Fire Emblem games, if a character dies in combat, they will be permanently dead, though one loophole is to restart the battle from the beginning (The game saves the number of deaths in even if the player restarts). If a player chooses to finish the battle after a party member dies, they will be permanently lost. In some situations, goals of the missions are to keep one character alive, so that loss instantly ends the level and forces the player to start that battle from the beginning. In all cases, the main player character must not die under any circumstance—the death of this character will result in a Game Over.

+ Bill O’Reilly Talks About Video Games and Violence and Ends Up Being Somewhat Reasonable About It All
Sorry but I don't buy into "Violent" Video games being a problem. The sentiment behind this is fine but tying it to video games, nah.
+ Video Games And The Sandy Hook Shooting: Two Very Different Reactions
#1: I don't know where my SUPER NINTENDO is at. It's really irritating me right now. What in the fuck? Amazon is selling a brand new copy of A Link To The Past?
#2: I'm very sad that I can't afford a stupid WiiU even though that name is stupid. WiiHD would of been so much better.
The Witcher 2: Enhanched Edition
Such an amazing RPG. There's a point where the game changes direction based on one decision you make. I played both decisions and was amazed at how completely different things went down. It really is two huge fantastic games. I eagerly await a third game on the next generation of consoles.
Mass Effect 3
The ending was a clusterfuck but the journey and the people we met along the way. What a fucking classic Epic Sci-Fi thing I want to share with all my friends.
STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN
I've been playing Street Fighter for 25 years and I'm never going to stop. Chun-Li is my homegirl.
Lumines: Electronic Symphony
The reason I got the PS VITA. That's how much I love LUMINES, I bought a device with a very unknown future but a gorgeous screen and Lumines is the best game to tune out the world and get lost in Music and Puzzles.
It gave me the Bioshock vibe and wonder I have not felt since 2007 when Bioshock came out. It's been a long time coming for a game to capture ambiance and cool gameplay, powers, setting, story and voice actors ( Susan Sarandon, Chloe Moretz, John Slaterry et al)
Journey
It has to be expiranced to be understood. Fucking brilliant soundtrack.
XCOM: ENEMY UNKNOWN
Brilliant Addictive Turn Based Strategy on a console? A Miracle.

By MY VELVET UNDIES
This is Eden Hain, part of the Youtube teenage generation that now exists. This cover of "Still Alive" is adorable.
Also there's this cover of it which I had never seen but found via Eden's blog:
Dear You,
This has been the worst year for me. I've been inside a bed bound depression for three weeks now. I feel like I only have one friend. The only one who calls. She's a very funny, inspiring, beautiful, sexy as fuck, smart and mischiveious one at that. Alas, she doesn't live in my town. She's been my lifeline ( without knowing it) during this very trying year. I had a breakdown that destroyed the life I had spent years rebuilding. Gone in a flash. I'm back to square one. It's very unpleasant. I'm Fianancially1, Emotionally and Creatively bankrupt. My heart feels so empty. The Holidays are just a dissaster for me ever since my mother died. I long for someone. I'm getting old and it sucks..but there is a light at the end of my bed....I believe IN CHEMICALS. At least "I'm Still Alive" (this gets carried over to the next post Obvs.)
1 in fact: if this blog ever goes down 'cos I can't pay for typepad: Bookmark achtungbaby.org. I have to back it up over there eventually but it's years worth of stuff and I'm not in the mood to fuck with migrating to wordpress or whatever the fuck. unless one of you wants to do it.
